BHUVANA VIJAYAM is Andhra Pradesh's first township campus for Engineering studies. Fully residential and self-reliant, it is a 200-acre knowledge universe, which is home to faculties with industry and research experience at top organisations, overseas and in India. Set up by technocrats, the institution opens its portals in August 2009 with 4 disciplines: Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical and Civil. The strength of its pedagogy is furthered by its technological infrastructure, which includes a WiMax ambience and 14-hour labs and library facilities. A unique Industrial Consultancy Centre is being set up for live industry interface that would help students get practical exposure and eventual placement. BHUVANA VIJAYAM is inspired by the era of the Vijayanagara Empire and promises to bring back 'Prosperity through Knowledge', which is its motto.

Our Inspiration
Our inspiration is Vijayanagara Empire, which was a South Indian Empire based in Deccan Plateau (1336 – 1646). In this period, literature, wealth and culture were at the peak. Diamonds sold on streets exhibit the prosperity of the era. Sree Krishnadevarayulu’s royal court BHUVANA VIJAYAM comprised of Ashta Diggajas (regarded as the eight pillars of his literary assembly), was taken as a model by many kings and kingdoms in and out of the Indian sub-continent.
